dress-codeIf you have recently burned out your shoe soles finding a job and endured hours of interviews to finally land a job in your career, then hats off to you and congrats for making the first step to your career.

You being chosen out of all the applicants around you, especially in this tough economic condition, is more like gaining victory in a war field.

But now that you are in a good start for your career, along with proper sense and knowledge of what you are doing, you should also come up with a proper image of your self. Just having professional outcomes in today’s career is not enough; you must also have a professional dressing code that boosts your identity from all others.

Improving your image adds significant importance to your career. Not just a general knowledge but also many researchers confirmed this statement with proof. One of the best-known image consultants John Molloy made years of researches and now finally confirms that ones dress code produces serious impact on their career.

Amongst all the experiment Molloy performed, one of them showed direct results on how a persons success is directly linked to his/her clothing choices. Molloy appointed a 28 year old to go to the railway station in New York to ask peoples around in there to pay him $1.50 for a fair since he has forgotten his wallet at home. The 28 year was given an hour wearing plain t-shirt and jeans, and another hour wearing suit and tie. An amazing result was obtained when those 28-year-old men bought up $8.5 wearing plain clothes and triple the amount wearing suit and tie.

Thus, Molloy confirms that wearing clothes of specific patterns boosts ones image and carrier, and that is what takes someone to reach success.

Researches from Molloy and nay others highlighted some points on how your dress code should be when you are stepping into your new carrier.

# What to be considered wearing
You cannot just wake up in the morning and pick one clownish violet t-shirt or a rainbow colored tie to put on and go to your workplace. There are many different points you have to look at when choosing the best outfit for the day.

Firstly, you have to understand what line of work you are in to. You need to know how your boss dresses. You need to get a feel of what your company is like, and then you will be able to base on all these factors while choosing a parent dress code.

If you want to be the boss, then dress like your boss itself. Find out which stores they get their clothing from and attack the stores with your full pockets. Remember, your boss is the one to give you promotions, thus cloning your boss’s style makes them see themselves in you, in not just performance wise but image wise too. This you should really consider investing on some dresses to gain success in your career.

# What not to consider wearing
Even if you do not want to look savvier than your boss does, at least try to dress normally. Do not over dressmaking you look like slobs. Just make sure you do not cross the limits of what your office atmosphere allows you to. Being under dressed is ill advised, but over dressing is also of no good too. After all, wearing an over coat in summer or a bow tie in a meeting will just end up making you the fool of the day.

# Keep yourself tidy
Do not forget to wash up regularly; do not even have a microscopic sized spot visible on your clothing. If you are into long travel or heavy-duty work, learn to crumple your shirt in a tidy manner.

Refer to some fashion sites and learn the latest official fashion trends. They are a great help for boosting your image with modern fashion and a role model in your work place.

What if your boss dresses inappropriately? By that, I mean shows a LOT of cleavage, bare legs and arms, sandals, casual pants or short ratty skirt; basically dresses far to casual for a serious business professional? I certainly am not going to copy that! What do you advise in this situation?
